This client based in Lichfield is a great example of how sometimes even a new kitchen needs tweaking to suit its new owner and it can be done! The client downsized to a lovely modern apartment with stunning views of the Cathedral but wanted an island to create extra storage and a space to sit and have lunch or tea and cake with her friends. She also wanted to open up the kitchen area to create more light.
This involved removing a stud wall, making good the floor, some electrical adjustments and plastering, followed by re-decorating and installing an island to match the current space. Fitted wardrobes were installed in the brand new apartment and now it feels like home! This process was all sourced and managed by Fordwell Kitchens.
