The client brief was an ‘open plan entertainment- living space’. They were struggling with layout and island positioning and just hadn’t found a design they loved. The main challenge was making a structural pillar on the main hob run ‘disappear ‘; achieved successfully by clever use of glass mirror while also offering another depth to the design.
Design elements such as the ‘bulkhead surround’ subtly fitted with miniature spotlights add just the required amount of drama needed to make this project stand out from the crowd from day into evening. The finishing touches of matching Antique bronze handles and tap, and sink all help this design pop with just the right amount of Lux…. beautifully finished off with the client’s choice of furnishings and light fittings.
