This was a project based in the Midlands that was undertaking an extensive ground floor extension. The client already had a clear idea on the colour palette using the Oak sepia tones to add warmth to the cool Midnight Blue. Echoing the Blue from the island as the tall unit surrounds helps tie this project together. The client fell in love with the stainless-steel vertical edge profiles on the wrap-around panels, and the anti-fingerprint doors.
Finishing details such as a bespoke dining table worktop to match the kitchen doors makes the whole space feel connected. The clear winner here is how the kitchen lighting, with the use of LED under worktop tape lighting, spot and bullet lighting and lightbox lighting on the units above the sink area, brings alive the kitchen at night time offering a new feel altogether in this grown-up, chill-out area.
