This family kitchen living space was created around the colour choices on the doors, the client wanted to make a statement but also wanted a classic kitchen that would stand the test of time. Keeping the accent colour to the island area gives just the right amount of feature colour without becoming overpowering. By teaming the crackle glaze metro tile to the colour of the island and other finishing touches this cements the design.
The island was placed in line with a ceiling lantern with consideration of where a pendant feature light could go. The utility space was kept light, bright and crisp to create order in a high usage area. Again lovely textiles and furniture choices and glass light fixtures bring the project the WOW factor with ease and sophistication for a great family home.
