This truly was a wonderful transformation of 3 highly dysfunctional spaces in a large bungalow- knocked into one big Kitchen Dinning space flooded with light. The main feature is a centralized extractor hob positioned on the island for an optimal view looking out onto the side garden through newly placed large bi-folds with wrap around seating for a sociable island yet with plenty of drawers for practical easy access storage.
The main design hurdle here was how to overcome a long sink run of the worktop. To avoid a join in the jumbo sheet quartz we incorporated a drop-down window seat for added interest and giving the client another design feature within the room. A perfect perching place to sit and chat with the chef while chilling with your favourite beverage!
